International Jhapali Society (IJS) was established with the purpose of uniting and binding the Jhapali Peoples stay around the world under one umbrella on 2016. In the course of completing 4 years of its existence IJS has developed a network of Jhapali Origin peoples by establishing National Committee (NC) in 42 countries around the world to represent its interests, concerns and commitments. Wherever we Jhapali may go or settle, we never forget our land of origin, the land which holds our identity and soul. We rejoice in the achievement of our beloved country and our District JHAPA and the entire people and are disheartened by their sufferings and failures. Our belief:“For a prosperous Jhapa- International Jhapali Society”, is reinforced by our commitment to streamline our energy and resources for the transformation of the Nepali society. The network of Nepali Diaspora represented by IJS has developed itself into a formidable force that can represent interest globally. Keeping all these in mind, the Government of Nepal has given legal status to International Jhapali Society (IJS) . Our Network is in Asia (including Middle East) , Africa, Oceania , Europe, America which has established 42 National Committee until August 2020.

Strategic Goals:
The Strategic Goals of IJS is to unite and bring Nepali residing all over the world who are from Jhapa District under one umbrella; protect and promote their interest in and outside Nepal and utilize their potentials and resources for the welfare of Jhapa District . To achieve these objectives the Society shall conduct the following activities:
- Promote and Help to Jhapali people who residing outside Nepal.
- Establish a global network and a common platform for Jhapali Diaspora.
- Attract and facilitate IJS investment including foreign direct investment (FDI) for economic and social development of Jhapa.
- Promote tourism and preserve Nepali culture and heritage globally.
- Mobilize the knowledge, skills, capital and other resources within the disposal of IJS’s for the socio economic development of Jhapa.
- Help to Jhapali people if any issue arise by natural disaster as well as involve on social movement in Jhapa .
